We’ve enjoyed time on some great patios this month including the brand new Allora from Vintage Group in West Springs. The white wine sangria and margherita pizza were the perfect tonic for a long week and sweet sounds of live music under cheery yellow umbrellas made for a lovely evening outdoors.

We also hung out with the gang at Mister Chen’s Asian Brasserie in Mission for some spit-roasted pig and all the fixin’s. We’ve never had pork so tender and juicy and, as always. Mister Chen’s sauces kicked everything up a notch. Don’t think the intermittent rain could keep us indoors. Calgarians are a hearty people and we’re fierce about our patio time – especially when afternoon mimosas are involved. Looking forward to spending more time on that patio with Calgary’s “best looking patrons.” I hope they let us stay.
