Tomato Dearbol Salsa

It’s quite hot and a little goes a long way.
- 6 to 8 tamarillos
- 6 – 8 serrano chiles, seeded and chopped
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 c. water
- Fresh lemon or lime juice
- Fresh cilantro
- Pinch of sugar
Boil tamarillos for 10 to 15 minutes until soft. Drain, cool slightly and peel. Put in a blender with chiles, green onions, water, a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice and a little fresh cilantro. Season to taste with salt and sugar. Excellent with grilled chicken or tuna.
