Carmen Creek Gorgonzola Bison Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground Carmen Creek bison
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. Panko or bread crumbs
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. red onion, minced
  • 1 T. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 t. each salt and pepper
  • 5 oz crumbled gorgonzola

Directions:

Combine everything in a large bowl, being careful not to overwork the mixture, and shape into 4 patties. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side, depending on the size of the patty. Keep in mind that bison burgers need only half the cooking time of beef burgers. Serve immediately. Makes 4 burgers.
